Fall Fun!

This post is WAY over due, but I did worn you before that I might not be very consistent!

Anyway, Andrew turns 9 months old tomorrow. I have no clue where the time went but 9 months is an awesome age! He is doing so many new things! Lately, he is crawling everywhere, I really have trouble keeping up with him!

Ric was leaving for work the other day and Andrew turned to him and waved. He got such a great reaction that he now waves every day all day. He loves to wave and he now claps any time he hears music, it's so fun! We're working on giving a high five right now.

Our biggest obstacle with him right now is the dreaded diaper rash that has been lingering for the past 5 weeks or so! We've tried everything, including using a blow dryer at every diaper change. He even went around naked for 2 days, but then I decided I could not handle another day of that! The things they DON'T tell you before you become a mom! We go to the doctor for his 9 month appointment tomorrow, so hopefully we can get this under control!

Other then that, Andrew is doing very well. We're already looking forward to our first Christmas with him and then his 1st birthday in January, I can't wait!!

A few weeks ago, we took some fall pics at a little pumpkin patch in Willow Park with Ric's parents. It was fun, but we should have gone when the sun wasn't so bright! We also were reminded that our family was not exactly made to be in the outdoors. When we got back Andrew was sneezing like crazy, I broke out in a rash and Ric had to do a breathing treatment! I think it was all due to the hay; festive but very deadly!

Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather. I'll try to post again soon!

My 6 Month Birthday!!!

Hello to all of my fellow blogging friends out there! I started creating my blog around 3 months ago and have never made and official post. I decided today would be as good as any so here goes!

I am still in disbelief that my sweet little Andrew who we affectionately call "Pooter" turned 6 months old today! Ric and I were talking about this last night how it seems like he was just a tiny newborn yesterday and at the same time we can barely imagine what life was like before our sweet baby came. It has truly been a precious time watching him change so rapidly and watching his sweet little personality develop.

Andrew is truly a reflection of God's glory to us; I am reminded of that every time I look into his face. Knowing the deep unconditional love that I have for him only gives me a tiny glimps of what Christ's love must be for me. It is truly an overwhelming thought that I won't fully understand until Heaven. Until then, we will rejoice for this precious gift that has been given to us! Happy Half- Birthday Andrew! We love you!!!!!
